Home made ginger tea for constipation.

constipation: a condition in which there is difficulty in emptying the bowels, usually associated with hardened faeces.

Ginger is a natural laxative which helps to promote bowel movement. It strengthens the digestive system.

It stimulates the appetite. 100 grams of ginger contains 14.1 grams of soluble dietary fiber, which dissolves easily in water, turning to a gel and softening stools so they’re easier to pass through the colon.

Ginger contains chemicals that stimulate peristalsis, the wavelike contractions that move food through the intestines.

As a natural carminative, ginger helps reduce gas. Ginger warms the body, helping generate heat the speeds up the digestive process. Ginger relaxes and soothes the intestinal tract and aids proper digestion, helping regulate bowel movements. It contains plenty of vitamin B, which promotes proper digestion.
